Upcoming Post Contact v1.2 Update

Greetings everyone!

I hope you have all had the chance to try out Post Contact and see how it plays. Its very possible that it does not run very efficiently due to very few optimization strategies taken into account. Which brings me to the main focus of my next update v1.3 which is:

OPTIMIZATION!!

In this next update I will be looking into all things optimization related. Everything from lighting, to textures to occlusion and everything in between.

I will first start with making a settings menu so that you are able to adjust certain settings to fit the needs of your computer (Smart Fridge Mode will definitely be a setting)

Next I will look into shadows and how to optimize those as I want lots of shadows and optimizing them will make a huge difference. 

Particle effects and other visual effects I will have to look into as well as those are causing large frame rate drop.

So there you have it, the goal of my next update. This should be ready within the next couple weeks as I am a solo dev and can only work so fast.
